Rapid Results
My clients frequently ask me why they find themselves unable to accomplish seemingly simple goals and objectives through willpower.
This is simple to answer. It’s because they are only using their conscious mind.
Your conscious mind makes decisions, thinks, analyses, sets direction, decides what to do and acts if in control. It’s like a searchlight. It shines the light of reason and analysis on the vast darkness that surrounds us and sees only what is in the light. It may believe that what it can see is all that exists. It is believed we can only pay conscious attention to between five and nine pieces of information at anyone time.
The unconscious mind that is accessed during treatment has a far greater influence, and can accomplish far more than the conscious. Learning and change always take place at the unconscious level. Then we become aware of the change and integrate it into our lives.
The conscious mind has reasons and insights, but is powerless to change on its own.
Unfortunately most people are not aware of this powerful difference and berate and punish themselves for not being able to make changes such as quitting smoking or losing weight and put it down to lack of ‘willpower’.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
YOU HAVE ALL THE RESOURCES YOU NEED WITHIN YOU TO MAKE THE CHANGES YOU DESIRE.
“If it’s that easy, why do I need you?”
Good question! Although you may consciously want to make a change, the subconscious can create resistance to change which is why we often need hypnotherapy.
Often we don’t realise that we have habitual patterns of behaviour or thoughts that may be blocking our chances of changing. Trying to achieve this without the subconscious mind being engaged is why so many people find it a ‘battle’; because the battle is within themselves.
I have training in various disciplines which means I can help you discover the root cause to help you make permanent changes and increase your choices moving forward.
Hypnosis – accesses the subconscious mind
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) – helps people to find a more useful ways of thinking or feeling
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) – works on the emotional aspects
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) – develops actions to move towards desired goals
SFBT (Solution Focused Brief Therapy) – you, the client, are guided towards building your solution rather than on problem solving, which focuses on the past.
The techniques used are all very quick and in some cases results are immediate. Usually issues have various aspects that keep them functioning and it’s my role to explore and identify what those are in order to facilitate the changes you desire.
“How quickly can I expect results?”
With your desire and commitment to change, it can be achieved on average in 2 to 4 sessions. I can give you a clearer idea after the Initial FREE advisory appointment when you have described your situation in more detail to me.
I often give out tasks to complete between sessions in order to speed your progress and to maximise your results, as well as personalised CD’s.
A well formed outcome is agreed between us – so you can measure and feel the difference before and after treatment.
To complete the journey, a feedback form is sent a few weeks after treatment in order to check you’re completely satisfied. This allows me to continually monitor my effectiveness and ensure I’m adapting to meet my clients’ needs.
“Is there any other way I could get these results as quickly and cost effectively as hypnotherapy?”
Not in my experience.
Please complete the email form and let me know if you find any other methods that have worked for you as I’m always interested in adding to my knowledge bank.
During treatment, I often explain and show you how these techniques work, so where appropriate you can take them and use them on other situations moving forward – a sort of buy one get one free offer!
